Why do we seek the protection of Ganesha during Ketu's periods...who is the puranic Ganesha and who was his Vedic prototype? What is the connection between Brihaspati and Ganesha? When and why did Brihaspati become GuRu and what is it’s connection with our Panchang? Jyotish is..afterall..the study of time.
after listening to the above, please read 👇🏼
P.S: Who is A Guru? Brihaspati is Deva Guru and Shukracharya is Daitya Guru.
Deva Gu-Ru removes the darkness to bring light to the Devas.
Daitya Gu-Ru removes the darkness to bring light to the Asuras.
Brihaspati is a Guru. Shukra is an Acharya. Guru teaches what Devas need to reach light. Shukra teaches what Asuras need to banish darkness.
How do you think this relates to Yamas and Niyamas as described in Patanjali’s YogaSutras.
I have touched upon Panchang and Brihaspati’s exaltation and debilitation points. As homework, I would like you all to compare Shukracharya’s exaltation, debilitation and moolatrikona points in the Kalapurusha chart.
What patterns do you detect? Jot down your impressions in your Jyotish Bootcamp journal. This will help you create the world of Time which is what we study when we learn Jyotish. This whole exercise is a study of Time. Our Existence and Time.
